Wagon Wheel Ranch is a family owned working ranch that has been around over 25 years. We offer horseback trail rides, Western and English riding lessons, boarding, training, hay rides, company picnics, meetings and special occasion parties. Camps are also offered in the summer through June and July.

Philosophy:

Wagon Wheel Ranch provides riding lessons in the disciplines of English, Dressage, Western and Bareback with a main focus on safety. Hunters and Jumpers with basics in Dressage is our specialty. Our goal at Wagon Wheel is to create a base of educated, confident, effective, and consistent students who, by acquiring correct basics and understanding of the true nature of the horse can maintain calm, willing mounts that make riding not only safe but a pleasure for both as one in any of the equestrian activities, no matter what the final goal may be.

We provide the opportunity for riders at all levels to experience the competitive aspect of the sport. Wagon Wheel Ranch hosts N.T.H.J.C. approved horse shows twice a year, one Texas Sport Pony show, schooling shows three times a year and clinics at our facility. Instructors and students at Wagon Wheel Ranch participate in World, National and local horse shows. Instructors encourage students to attend as many shows as possible. Competition is a great way to test your equestrian skills and boost your confidence. Competition teaches you perseverance and gives you the satisfaction of a job well done.
